Pricing Information

Peak Season  (Memorial Day - Labor Day)

Rental is by the week only and runs $1,600/week (plus hotel and bed taxes).

 

Off-Peak Season

Rental is 3 night minimum stay at $275/night (or $225/night for 4 or more nights. Plus hotel and bed taxes).

 

Specials:

There are always specials, so call to see if we can accommodate your particular needs and budget.

 

Deposit:

A 40% deposit is required to hold your reservations. The deposit is due at the time reservations are made. The deposit is refundable (less a $100 processing fee) if the cancellation policy is met. (see below.)

 

Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

 

No Smoking: All rooms are non-smoking. In-room violations subject to a $250 cleaning fee.

 

Cancellation Policy:

A sixty-day notice is required for peak season cancellations. A two-week notice is required for off-peak season cancellations. Deposits are refundable (less a $100 processing fee) after the cancellation deadline, if the manager is able to rent the unit during the intended stay.

Downieville is located on Highway 49 along the Yuba-Donner Scenic Byway, a 160-mile rustic loop of highways that traverse the Tahoe National Forest and private lands in Nevada, Placer, Sierra and Yuba Counties. This special designation for the loop has been awarded due to the exceptional scenery, historic resources, and recreational opportunities throughout the region. The Yuba-Donner Scenic Byway provides two beautiful routes from I-80 to Downieville: the Rivers Route through Auburn from the west and the Summits Route through Truckee from the east. Approximate travel times: San Francisco 3 1/2 Hrs; Sacramento 2 Hrs; Reno 2 Hrs.
